Classical singing group The Priests are heading for Teesside this summer for what looks set to be a sell-out concert ahead of a farewell tour of their native Ireland.
The award-winning trio, who have just announced that 2024 – their golden jubilee – will be their last year singing together, will perform at St Mary’s Cathedral, Middlesbrough, on Friday June 28.
Later in the year the year they will embark on a Time To Say Goodbye Concert Tour in Ireland.

Pre-Pilgrimage Mass for all Lourdes Pilgrims
The 50th Annual Postgate Rally
For half a century, on the first Sunday of July each year, the Diocese of Middlesbrough has organised the Postgate Rally. This takes the form of an open-air Mass, to commemorate the Blessed Martyr, Nicholas Postgate.
Hymns are sung from 2.30pm, with Mass beginning at 3pm.
This year, His Eminence Cardinal Arthur Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship, will be the guest preacher on Sunday 7th July 2024.
